Emily Turnbull, M.S., CCC-SLP, co-founder of Grow Your Mind, LLC, is a Northwest Ohio native. She graduated in December 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Bowling Green State University. She went on to obtain her Master of Science in Speech-language Pathology from Bowling Green State University in May 2017. Emily returned to Northwest Ohio following graduation and has worked in a variety of settings, including inpatient rehabilitation, acute hospital, outpatient clinic setting, and public and parochial school settings. She has experience working in adult swallowing, adult cognition, pediatric feeding, pediatric expressive and receptive language disorders, phonological and articulation disorders, pragmatic language disorders, and fluency disorders. She has experience working with children with Autism spectrum disorder. Although Emily has worked with a variety of populations, she specifically enjoys working with the pediatric population. Watching a child find their voice and communicate their wants and needs with those they love most is her drive to continue in her career. Emily looks forward to bringing a variety of services to a community she has called home from a young age.

Emily lives in Bryan with her husband, Caleb, and three children, Ellis, Lettie, and Hayes. In her spare time, Emily enjoys going on walks and bike rides with her family and her two dogs, Elsie and Cooper, working out, and cheering on her children in their youth sports. Emily and her family enjoy vacationing together at the beach in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
