Mackensey Gebers, MOT, OTR/L, is a licensed Occupational Therapist with 5 years of clinical experience. Her academic career began at Kent State University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in 2017. She then attended Eastern Michigan University, receiving a Master of Occupational Therapy degree in 2020. Mackensey has worked in various settings, including acute care, an outpatient Autism therapy center, and most recently, a school-based position. Over the past five years her interest and desire to support the pediatric population has grown and been so rewarding. In each professional setting Mackensey has held, her clinical knowledge and reasoning skills have developed, expanding her understanding of child development and common diagnoses that impact their everyday functioning and participation. She looks forward to the next steps in her career working with Grow Your Mind!

Mackensey and her husband, Jacob, have been married since 2020 and they have a cavapoo named Cooper. In her free time Mackensey loves being outdoors: sitting on the porch/deck, walking or playing sports. She loves singing, puzzling, and most of all, spending time with her family and friends.
